Temporary, Full-Time Employment with Openlands' Urban Forestry Team
|

Openlands' Urban Forestry team is looking for 1-2 people now to assist with tree planting and maintenance through mid-November.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tree Maintenance
- Watering and care of newly planted trees.
- Conduct tree health checkups.
- Assist on Saturday tree plantings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid IL Driver's license and ability to drive stick shift.
- Experienced in working with volunteers.
- Knowledgeable of trees or gardening. Pruning skills a plus.
- Has a cell phone.
- Positive, flexible attitude and sense of humor.
- Have the ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and do hard physical work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
